About me
Hi! I'm Maryna. I've been making cakes to order since 2019 — first in my hometown of Kharkiv, now in Arnhem.
My story
My story in the world of pastry began in 2018. I had always loved baking, especially cakes. I enjoyed not only trying new flavours, but inventing my own. Whenever I ordered a cake, I would think through every detail in advance: the design, the colours, the decoration, even the combination of fillings. Back then I had no idea this would one day become my life's work.
One night in 2019, completely on impulse, I signed up for a six-month course at an online pastry school. By morning I was enrolled — and that's how my professional journey began.
The funny thing is, I never planned to turn my hobby into a profession. I simply wanted to bake beautiful, delicious cakes for my family, for their special days.
The course started in June. I gave my first cakes away to family, friends and neighbours — I wanted honest feedback, so I could learn and improve. By September I had my first real order, from an acquaintance. That's when I realised my hobby could become my profession.
From 2019 on, I made cakes to order in my hometown — Kharkiv.

A new chapter
In 2022 our family moved to the Netherlands.
At first it seemed impossible to continue doing what I loved. I didn't know the local products, where to buy them — or where to even begin.
But packed among my things were the items most precious to me: a hand mixer, a palette knife and my recipe book. Looking back, I think deep down I already knew I would return to baking one day.
I worked in different jobs, none of them related to pastry, but not a day went by that I didn't miss what I love.
In December 2023, friends asked me to bake a cake for their child's first birthday. That cake became my first in Arnhem — and the beginning of a new chapter for kreMM, here in the Netherlands.
Why kreMM?
kreMM
The name kreMM was born back in Ukraine.
I wanted something simple, easy to remember and truly mine. That's how kreMM came about: it echoes the word "cream", and the two capital letters MM are my initials — Maryna Marchuk.
Today it's more than a brand name. It's a small piece of who I am, my character, and the way I approach every order.
My approach
To me, a cake is much more than a beautiful dessert.
Quality comes first. That's why I never use margarine, plant-based cream substitutes, ready-made baking mixes or cheap ingredients. Real butter, good chocolate, fresh cream and carefully chosen products — that's the foundation of every cake I make.
I firmly believe that taste always matters more than a pretty picture.
I create every order as if it were for my own family. I don't just want to bake a beautiful cake — I want to create a moment people will remember for a long time.
About the flavours
I'm sincerely proud of every cake I make.
Every filling on my menu is the result of long, patient work. I make each recipe my own: adjusting proportions, experimenting with combinations, refining the details again and again.
Before a new flavour appears on the menu, it goes through many tastings and improvements.
Honest feedback from my clients means a lot to me — it's what helps me keep getting better.
A little about me
Today I live in Arnhem with my husband and our son.
Our son is twelve, and my husband has always been — and still is — my greatest support and inspiration.
Over the years he has had to taste countless desserts. You could say he "sacrificed" about ten kilos for my craft. 😊
He is my most honest critic, my first taster, and the person who always supports me and never lets me give up.
Thank you for being here 🤍
It's an honour to be part of your celebrations.
Thank you to everyone who trusts me with the sweetest moments of their lives. Into every cake I put not only quality ingredients and professional skill, but a little piece of my soul.
