Bento

A bento cake is a small cake of 400 grams, just enough for one or two people. It comes in a little box you can hand over as it is — hence the name, after the Japanese lunch box. Good as a gift, for a proposal, or simply for a Tuesday. The price is fixed at €35 rather than charged per kilo like the larger cakes. Of everything I make this is the quickest: two to three days ahead is usually enough.
